CRZ - തദ്ദേശ ഭരണകൂടങ്ങളുടെ ട്രൈബ്യൂണലിന് ഇടപെടാൻ ആകുമോ ?

The authority of tribunal constituted under the provisions of Kerala Panchayat Raj act to interfere in orders passed by authority under coastal regulation zone is mooted as a question in this judgement of honorable high court of Kerala. 

The court held that the tribunal has no power to consider the issue with regard to the violation of the coastal regulation zone. The judgement relied on by the tribunal to come to the conclusion that once a permission is granted by the local authority, the same cannot be revoked by the same authority is no longer good law. The question with regard to the application of CRZ could not have been considered by the Tribunal.
