 What is the latest update on Surrogacy law in India ?

SURROGACY REGULATION ACT 2021 has been published by the Ministry of Law and Justice and consequently, the enactment came in to force on 25.12.2021.

This is an Act to constitute National Assisted Reproductive Technology and Surrogacy Board, State Assisted Reproductive Technology and Surrogacy Boards and appointment of appropriate authorities for regulation of practice and process of surrogacy and for matters therewith or incidental thereto. It contains VIII chapters and contains 54 Sections.
