THE PREVENTION OF TORTURE BILL, 2010
An enactment to provide punishment for torture inflicted by public servants or any person inflicting
torture with the consent or acquiescence of any public servant, and for matters
connected therewith or incidental thereto.
This can be a landmark law in India especially where the Cops are taking law into their hands irrespective of various Court Decisions and Procedural Codes.
